Welcome to the PodWarp 1999 website. No, don’t say anything. We know this is an important moment for you. Your entire life been building up to listening to this podcast, and now it’s finally here you can breathe a sigh of relief. Go on. Relax. Have a cup of tea and some biscuits or something.

PW99 is an excuse for five people involved in the world of Scifi Webcomicry to talk about their craft, about how they go about putting their respective comics together. Every week we’ll get together and discuss everything, from the various aspects of writing science fiction - the cliches, the expectations, knowing the rules and importantly knowing when they should be bent or broken - to the art itself. It’s an excuse to share how we do what we do, and maybe learn something from each other. Hopefully you’ll be able to take something away from each recording (other than, y’know, the fact that I tend to babble incoherently about bugger-all).

As well as the podcast, the five of us will occasionally be posting thoughts and musings on the blog. These posts are generally going to be “As and when” - there’s no schedule for those, so subscribing to the blog’s RSS feed is probably a good idea if you want to keep an eye on these.
